agreed. spray alcohol all over it if you feel the need to sanitize.
But don't take it to a dealer and complain about being concerned. If you cared that much you would have waited to bring it in, or took it somewhere else.
Alcohol is hell on leather.

Good for the guts, but hell on leather. Just be careful.

teaching in CA is a great job! My uncle and aunt both retired in early 60’s and make over $200k a year FOREVER with yearly increases and health insurance.

better yet. Work 20 years as a teacher and 20 years as a different public employee and collect 2 full pensions when you retire.

That explains the taxes in CA...all those legacy costs aren't free. New York and New Jersey are even worse, with property taxes 6 times what I pay in AZ. I can’t blame people for being smart and following the rules of that system to have a nice life and retirement, but the system as a whole is unsustainable long term. Municipal pension obligations will bankrupt cities and states and they will come to the taxpayers with a hand out because they were irresponsible. If the house of cards comes crashing down and all those pensions disappear we’re going to have a large group of people who get screwed.

I actually read an article somewhere by one of the major interior suppliers for the automotive industry. They went on to say they use alcohol to clean pieces of leather on the assembly line when needed and it wasn’t harmful. So if need be you can use it when needed in your cars interior if need be.

True I wouldn’t want to use it continuously or as a general cleaner. I also make sure to shortly follow with a leather/interior treatment to renourish the material.

I agree 100%, the system will fail, it’s inevitable. I dislike this state for so many reasons, but I love it for just as many, if not more. As stated prior, I am 43 years old, and I am a born and raised Orange County guy, whose lived within a 3 mile radius his entire life. I have surfed, skated, and skied my entire life, and still do. I have owned 2 raptors, and now an F350, I try to spend as much time in Baja as I do Newport Beach. I am a blessed man! If any of this begins to not be true... I’m out of commiefornia!

By the way, I love AZ. I have Several friends who live there. Scottsdale, Surprise, Parker, Bullhead, Glendale, and on and on. We visit them several times a year, golf, river, guns, UTV, trail riding, camping, etc... Maybe I’ll live there at some point.

definitely is. I should have followed up by saying i'd spray and wipe with a rag and alcohol. followed a few min later by a rag with just water. doesn't take alcohol long to kill anything.

It's been debated before whether "leather conditioner" is needed, as these seats are coated.
If someone wanted to go that route Bick 4 is the shit. Does wonders on anything leather.

Maybe in your humidity it's different, but ten seconds around here and alcohol had evaporated. No need for the water. Maybe some leather conditioner from time to time. Personally, I drive it home and wash my hands ...

alcohol evaporates after being wiped on quickly in any environment. it kills anything known to man by then.

If I felt the need to "sanitize" as some do here, after doing so it might be smart not to leave alcohol residue on the entire inside. thus a quick damp cloth wipe down. easy

and yeah, i agree. wash your disgusting **** beaters and that is about all that should be needed

Would that be an insinuation? Or a stated factoid?
