That is just the shell. A fully outfitted tailgate with step and camera will run more than $2k. Finding a used one is the best option. Know your source as they are often stolen.

copart doesn’t sell parts, just whole vehicles, www.car-part.com will find you a tailgate.

Assuming it's a 2017 raptor, and you want the step, OEM ford tailgate from rock is only $520....

Unless you go to the dealership for dental work... they will gladly take your molars....

they're more expensive in the US?

Over here we don't have outlets that sell new OEM parts like rockauto.com

Hmmmm..... my bad. It looks like the gate complete and the tailgate shell and the tailgate with a dozen other bits attached are listed differently for different years. I'd never noticed that before...

AND I'd always assumed that rockauto would just ship to pretty much anywhere.

I'm learnin' lots of stuff lately. I hope it's not another round of tbi induced alzheimers...

i have a 2018 tailgate ( complete) with step that has been sittin in my garage for a year. I find it funny that even with the tailgates being so expensive, I havent been able to find a taker for it, even though it is complete and I will take $1000 obo.

I went through pricing all of the components new from Ford. The entire assembly would be over $2100.
