i have a 2018 tailgate ( complete) with step that has been sittin in my garage for a year. I find it funny that even with the tailgates being so expensive, I havent been able to find a taker for it, even though it is complete and I will take $1000 obo.

I went through pricing all of the components new from Ford. The entire assembly would be over $2100.

Why do you have a 2018 tailgate ( complete) with step that has been sittin in your garage for a year?

I'd take it but the I guess the cost of shipping from New Orleans to the UAE would refute any savings.

Maybe you can check?

Just plug in any Abu Dhabi address.

I removed it when we cut the bed floor out and sunk the spare tires down. My truck is 100% fun-oriented and does not get used on the street unless I'm on a run that requires pavement driving. I wanted to still be able to see out of the back window with 2 x 40" spares on the truck. I also wanted to get them as far to the rear as I could for weight distribution. (helps the front stay out of the holes in whoops and also helps prevent nose-dives when catching air.)

I will be honest and say that there is a 1/2" sized dent ( no paint damage) that could be removed via paintless dent removal. I just haven't had it pulled out BC it has been sitting on a panel stand and I don't need it.

here's a pic:

The 1/2" ding is under the sticker. I never had it removed because you don't notice the ding at all with the sticker. The tailgate is also wrapped in a satin metallic vinyl ( and has been since before the truck was ever offroaded. The paint underneath is magnetic grey metallic.

I'll ask the TMX guys about shipping. It might make sense to also order whatever upgrade parts that you might be interested in for your truck at the same time to save on shipping and just make it a pallet.
