I am truly sorry to hear that.
Expedited order and they should comp your airfare and lodging for Raptor Assault (and waive the taking ownership requirement )

Hang in there. I know you’ve read it a lot but the truck really is awesome.

Go with the expedited order. The waiting seems to be over. Trucks that were built in late December were shipping in January. trans issue seems to be resolved, so I would assume they could turn that order around for you in less than a month if you get a hold of the right people. It's not the dealers fault. Ask if you can deal directly with the regional rep and they can keep you up to date as to where your order is through the process. Reality is, the truck isn't yours until you sign the paperwork with the VIN on the purchase order and drive away, so it really wasn't your truck that was damaged, it was the dealers. Sounds like you have a decent relationship with them, so take whatever assistance you can get with a new order and hopefully the expedite the shit out of it and you get it in a few weeks.

An expedited order will take about 4 weeks probably. When they are replacing a unit that something like this happened they can make things happen pretty quickly.

I've never seen any financial compensation but a 100k mile extended warranty or a maintenance agreement is not out of the question here.

wonder how it got damaged.. was it being shipped by rail?

I was told it was convoy but nothing solid yet, still waiting... kind of annoying the regional rep is too busy to touch base with in times like these

honestly would be enough to keep my respect, ill take what I can get but I would hope for the extended warranty at least... literally cost them nothing (ford that is).

I'm not saying this is what happened, but google your original VIN in a month

Prior ordered vehicle, told the same thing

Turned out to be a lie and was sold to someone else

I agree with above. Have dealer make you #1 allotment for 2018 order. From the sounds of many posters, you may be better off once they work the kinks out.
