Fuggin expensive for some beat around parts you still have to weld. Wonder what kind of deal you could get.
And you can do better? Lets see it.
I didn't have to weld anything. I just drove my truck out to Colorado and had Hefty weld them on for me before I took the truck over 300 miles off road through Colorado and another 200 miles around Moab.
Why did I do this? Last year I watched Jarret's and Isurvive's trucks take body damage coming down trails in Southern Colorado and wanted real protection not just something for looks.
Yes the sliders are expensive but cheaper and less stress then repairing body panels etc from damage.
To me the only downside to this type of slider is weight gain.
Very nice. I would like to have a set like these. Last year I hit my drivers side running board hard enough I thought it was going to snap. Luckily I didn't break anything. Not even the second pass when I hit it again. Have been thinking about an upgrade like yours since. At the time all I could think was how lucky I was that there wasn't body damage. Having extra jacking points is always a good thing.Hefty Fab works are "true rock sliders" that can be used as a jacking point and can carry the weight of the vehicle. I have used my high lift jack on it with no issues. Of course they are welded to the frame.
