Anyone have their seats redone?
I have been wanting to do suspension racing seats but its not practical with the airbag setup and sensors. The leather ****** me off every time I look at it.
I got a quote at a local place and they quoted me $400 to redo the leather on the front seats. Much cheaper than I ever expected.
Much higher quality leather outer, and grey heathered tweed to replace the perforated leather inserts.

Ya they can. I looked at that for the inserts first but decided on the tweed for durability and ease to keep clean.
I'm also going to talk to them about the steering wheel leather and maybe get that in suede/alcantara.

It's kind of like mating a 911 GT3 and a Raptor - only thing is, I don't think cooled seats work with Alacantra as you cannot pinhole them.

white would be too hard to keep clean and from turning blue from jeans. My mom has light leather in her car and it turns blue. I am having the orange strip changed with or without the wheel. I was thinking white for that.

Thats a good point..I'm sure there is some materials that won't turn colors. I just like white a lot lol

I've been thinking about doing the same thing to mine. I hate the factory leather, but am going to wait until it starts showing wear and then talk to a custom shop.

I always wished these trucks came with a little higher quality seat leather.
