market is cooling had a dealer reach out and offer me a 23 r with 10k miles they had listed at 128k and came down to 115k crazy 12k discount. considering just buying it as i know it is a smarter buy
Take that 10k and buy the new Gen 3 FRS shocks when they come out.Was offered 113,500 for my 23R with 3,000 miles via a wholesale bid at my local dealer (I paid 121k for it in December). I didn’t like the 24 enough to justify the extra cost (they wanted my truck and 10k) and they weren’t willing to wait on me to sell it. Keeping the 23 unless some magic deal hunts me down. I think the 23R looks marginally better anyway.

Yep, or the whipple upgrade. But just a pedal monster livens it up quite a bit on its own.Take that 10k and buy the new Gen 3 FRS shocks when they come out.
I agree but the FRS shocks will be noticeable. The Gen 2 ones were a noticeable upgrade.99% of the people will not even notice any difference in the shocks.

My understanding is the rears are too short and not valved for the 5 link. Also, the top hat bolts on the Gen 2 shocks are narrower than the Gen 3 bolts. They fit, but it would be better for them to be correctly sized. Will they need to alter the rears, isn't there 1" less travel on the gen 2 shocks?
