Current ‘19 raptor owner…selling it this year…what should I replace it with…37 raptor, TRX or F250?

I don’t think you
i spoke with a local dealer this week who then spoke with the ford rep and apparently there’s no way to get one this year. And at well over $100k…hard to rationalize that. Not throwing it complexly out…just not leading in the race right now. I just can’t imagine what the drop in value would be…maybe not much but can’t imagine someone paying even $90k for a used truck. But maybe they would. I think right now I’m leaning toward a 37 raptor…just curious if there’s a notable drop in power with the larger tires. Also want to test drive a trx

Just make sure you drive the TRX and check it over good. Quality control is horrible

The one we had was bad. Wind noise problem with the windshield too. Beast of a truck though. The sound and power is so satisfying even at light throttle.
Knock on wood, my TRX has been pretty good for the first 16,000 miles. The biggest noise issue I have is the noise from the Good Year tires. I’m going to run them until they are dead, then I’m going with the BFG KO2’s. Honestly, every manufacturer is going to have a few vehicles that are less than perfect. That’s why we have warranty. It’s also why I opted for the 7/75k extended warranty. I‘d add the extended warranty to a Raptor as well, these things are expensive to fix.

Both the TRX and Raptor (35/37/R) are cool trucks. I’d love to drive a 3rd Gen Raptor to see how it feels compared to my TRX.

There was someone who went from a Raptor to F250. Name escapes me, hopefully they chime in.

You can always add a wide body kit, fenders and new wheel offset, to get the Raptor "look." People in F150s do it all the time.

I went from a 2016 F350 6.7 to a 2018 Raptor. Love the truck, but can't compare them. Two different uses. I ended up picking up a OBS 7.3 for truck stuff, and daily driving. Raptor is for Starbucks runs only.

I recommend the Tremor due to more off road fun than their standard counterparts.
I just test drove a tremor with the 7.2. Very Nice truck, but a crew cab and 6.5 ft bed was just too long for the city and high for the garage.

In the Gen 2, the spring shop added an extra leaf spring and that solved the squat. A little firmer ride but I drive under load most of the time.

The gen 3 was a challenge to solve the squat problem. I added a dodge Airlift spring inside the coil and that seems to do the trick and keeps the stock ride when not under load and full 24 inch articulation off road.

I just couldn't see the F250 as a daily city driver.

Anyone have a 37 raptor that had a gem 2 normal size raptor in the past? Just would like to hear how they compare. Also would love to hear if anyone has or had a regular fx4 platinum and how it compares towing to a raptor.

I own a f350 and a Raptor. One is a sledge hammer the other is a scalpel.

Like a tell people, a Cresent wrench is a ****** socket set.

Vehicles are like tools. You need to sit down and be honest about what you NEED out of a vehicle and what you would LIKE.

I knew a Raptor would not and should not do F350 stuff so I kept it, against my wife's wishes. I did Raptor stuff with my F350 but won't anymore.
