I don’t think you22 Raptor
i spoke with a local dealer this week who then spoke with the ford rep and apparently there’s no way to get one this year. And at well over $100k…hard to rationalize that. Not throwing it complexly out…just not leading in the race right now. I just can’t imagine what the drop in value would be…maybe not much but can’t imagine someone paying even $90k for a used truck. But maybe they would. I think right now I’m leaning toward a 37 raptor…just curious if there’s a notable drop in power with the larger tires. Also want to test drive a trxRaptor R
Knock on wood, my TRX has been pretty good for the first 16,000 miles. The biggest noise issue I have is the noise from the Good Year tires. I’m going to run them until they are dead, then I’m going with the BFG KO2’s. Honestly, every manufacturer is going to have a few vehicles that are less than perfect. That’s why we have warranty. It’s also why I opted for the 7/75k extended warranty. I‘d add the extended warranty to a Raptor as well, these things are expensive to fix.Just make sure you drive the TRX and check it over good. Quality control is horrible
The one we had was bad. Wind noise problem with the windshield too. Beast of a truck though. The sound and power is so satisfying even at light throttle.
I just test drove a tremor with the 7.2. Very Nice truck, but a crew cab and 6.5 ft bed was just too long for the city and high for the garage. There was someone who went from a Raptor to F250. Name escapes me, hopefully they chime in.
You can always add a wide body kit, fenders and new wheel offset, to get the Raptor "look." People in F150s do it all the time.
I went from a 2016 F350 6.7 to a 2018 Raptor. Love the truck, but can't compare them. Two different uses. I ended up picking up a OBS 7.3 for truck stuff, and daily driving. Raptor is for Starbucks runs only.
I recommend the Tremor due to more off road fun than their standard counterparts.
That seems a little harsh…I’ve done a ton of “truck stuff” with it.H e l l the Raptor is actually a pretty crappy F150 if you need to do truck stuff.
