Crazy ADM with Gen 3 Raptors... any MSRP dealer in Md/Va/Dc/De?

Ok so you guys are freaking me out a bit now. I have a verbal agreement for MSRP, I also have a signed /dated order sheet and gave them a deposit. I understand that a dealership could screw me over but is it likely given my current position? Has anyone had this happen to them with a deposit and signed order sheet in hand? I know this is not a "contract" but come on, really?

Dude, you are going to be just fine. The people that get their truck pulled out from under them and screwed right before delivery are the exception. Businesses aren't in business to screw people over. If they wanted to sell the truck over MSRP they would have told you to pay over, or told you to walk and then find the next guy that will pay over.

It is a lot of work to deal with you, handle all of your questions, and incessant need for build updates just to **** you off and sell to another guy.

On one hand, I hear you; I won't pay ADM. On the other hand, outlawing it (whether Ford or the government) is a step towards socialism; we should let the market handle it. So, let's band together and refuse pay ADM!

not so much, they still require dealerships to handle service for all vehicles they sell, I can't see them trying to go to direct sales and buy up every service dept.

The will not happen. Ford makes too much money off the dealerships and lets them bear the brunt of the expenses of a brick and mortar store/service department.

Just to add to that since you obviously are referencing the Tesla sales model. Ford sold almost 5.5million vehicles in 2019. Tesla sold around 360k. No way Ford could ever sell and deliver almost 6 million cars in the model Tesla does. Not possible.

Is production suppose to increase / allocations for 2022?

I hope so because I’m about 8 months or so from purchasing and I really don’t want to play games

Update- Dealership called me back and are charging me 10k over MSRP, this happened even after I put a deposit down. I yelled at him for a bit since I asked 50 times if there was any chance I’d pay any ADM and was told no. Sales rep told me I wouldn’t have to, the sales manager told me I wouldn’t have to, but the GM laid down the law and said hell no you’ll for sure be paying the ADM. Still getting it but kinda pissed at how that played out. If you are in my same boat I’d get everything in writing, I didn’t and now I’m 10k worse for it

I don't play the ADM game. That's why I didn't buy a Raptor until I was able to deal like it was a standard vehicle. I wouldn't give my money to that dealership

You guys are making me nervous as hell now, lol. This is going to end badly for a lot of people. I hope each and every one that gets screwed writes a scathing review on Yelp, Google reviews, and whatever the other ones are.

I am going to destroy my first dealership that screwed me, but I am waiting to take delivery at MSRP from another dealership before I go scorched earth.
