Well a little over 4 years & 82k miles I finally have the first real issue w/ my 2020- truck was in a shop getting a suspension overhaul (rebuilt shocks/deavers/end links/perch collar etc) & while it was down I figured I’d have them swap the spark plugs out too since I last did it @ 40k & had some fomoco performance plugs on the shelf….called me up & told me have a small crack in both valve covers been weeping oil for quite a bit- I never saw any drips or anything or got any low oil warning & oil level was ok last I checked

Out of powertrain warranty obviously, kinda wish I had the extended warranty but oh well…

Truck has been running Gearhead tune for 70k miles or so

Thing that sucks is….if I knew about the valve covers before I pulled the trigger on suspension stuff I never would have bothered, would’ve traded in on a gen3 or RHO, but at this point having already purchased the suspension parts & torn into it got no choice but to fix.

Got probably $3400 into the suspension probably $1000 on that labor + $1000 on the valve covers $5-$6k I’m guessing all said & done…getting toward my typical down payment of $10-$20k + trade

Oh well‍♂️
