Covp program bypassing allocation

Well this gives me some hope. I ordered a 801a 2022 12/15 from a small/medium sized dealership a buddy works at a few hours away from where I live. They forwarded me the email with it was received and will be scheduled. Hopefully it gets built and I have it around summertime which would be great.

I also just submitted an order for a '22 37 package with a dealer who submitted through COVP last week, and I received an identical confirmation.

Just got info from Blueovalforums Ford Moderator...Raptors are a specialty unit and are always have been scheduled manually by regional office, subject to allocation and commodity restraints. That should clear up a lot of COVP problem!

Kind of, the question still remains why are salesman telling people ordering that it’s going through COVP when clearly it’s not.

I think that when you enter info in COVP, I don’t think there is an option for selecting Raptor. I think its just “F 150 Line” “Bronco Line” “F 250 Line” as seen on the COVP sheet.

That’s probably correct. I emailed my salesman this morning asking specifically if it was or not due to conflicting information in several communities. She’s is adamant that it is indeed applicable to COVP otherwise the order wouldn’t even be able to be placed through that system. So who knows at this point. She said there’s 7 Orders ahead of me. Oh well, it gets here when it gets here. I don’t mind waiting.

Technically, all retail orders are submitted through WBDO (Web Based Dealer Ordering) system not COVP. You can’t submit orders on COVP.
