White isn't a color. it is defined as completely void of color. :troll3:

Come On? Your window sticker says, Color: Oxford White.
White is the color of snow & milk. Would you eat yellow snow, or drink terrian colored milk? NO you wouldn't, so you know you want your milk and snow to be the color of white. So therefore, white is a COLOR! VOID THIS!

Birdie, aka Doveman, Even though the sticker says we’ll get 16 mpg and we know the only way that would be possible, is that the Raptor would have to be neutral and be going down Pikes Peak Road, and I surely hope we don’t have anybody on frf stupid enough to try that. Now, Wilson E-30 might enable you get 14 mpg downhill, but that’s a different subject.

The subject here is White a Color or is it “VOID”. I believe you posted a thread a while back saying you were trying to choose between the two colors: Silver and Oxford White. Exhibit A, window sticker in your hand has Exterior Color: Oxford White. Exhibit B, your signature block has a picture of Oxford White Raptor. Exhibit C, your Raceline Pre-runner bumper has an Oxford White Skid Plate with clear protective film as stated in your install review. Exhibit D: what color Yeti do you have? White or Void? Oh that’s right you don’t have one.

So when you ordered all this stuff did for your Yeti build did you check the Silver or Oxford White color option? Or did you check “VOID”. I think NOT!

Checkmate, my fellow Super Hero! (Derailed)

Technically speaking, black is completely absent of color and white is the product of all colors in the visible spectrum being combined. But this has been a fun game anyway. Ever play with a prism in 5th grade science class? Or were you too busy playing chess, nerd.

Things on this sight make me laugh... Of course I can average 16 MPG with my truck.. All I have to do is drive 55 tuck in behind a big rig and I can creep it up to near 19 MPG not recommended however. But who drives one of these trucks at 55, lmao... I have never driven 55 even when I passed a Nevada Highway patrol I was doing a little over 65. Did not even see him until my wife pointed to him as we went by.... Broken finger so dont make fun of my typing...

Being an automotive painter for the last 15 years, I have seen and heard of many issues. I haven't really paid too much attention to this detail on the color differences on the fenders but now I will. Yes, plastic usually shows up slightly different than metal, but fiberglass usually doesn't. This might not be the case, but if your truck had been scraped on the fenders during shipping, a body shop that the dealer either has, or is set up with, will fix and paint your vehicle before it hits the showroom floor. If they painted the fenders, they better damn well blend the doors, otherwise, you will see the shade difference. Blending the adjacent panels will always come out 100% matching of the panels. Believe it or not, white has more variances than most colors. White doesn't match easy at all. I would have a pro examine if that's the factory paint or not. Yes you can tell the difference by looking at the orange peel under flourescent lights. I would hate to know that my brand new truck was damaged before I picked it up. God knows this happens a lot more than we think. I know cause I repair brand new dealer cars all the time due to this issue.

Where I work no color is white, and all colors combined make black.
