None. Sorry, HREs on a Raptor aren't right. It's like taking very fine expensive bourbon and giving it to your dog. Or John Cena wearing 6 inch women's heels. You get the idea. Kind of pointless.

I'm trying to figure out why some think HRE is a bad choice ? Is the Raptor not the best truck Ford offers in its class.. what's wrong with adding the best forged wheels on the market?

I think the biggest issue some people have is the price (which really isn't any kind of support for their point of view). I guess it's part of this feeling that off-road capable vehicles are part of the built not bought[emoji769] community and therefore anything expensive could be made / found cheaper. Also this idea that HREs belong on vehicles in the 100k+ community not the raptor but who cares

Not saying either community is wrong, I really don't care and can appreciate both sides

I agree with you. I want HRE's because they represent the best at what they do. Fit and finish is outstanding I have owned many wheels including theirs and nothing was as good.

I also don't see how putting a forged wheel as opposed to a cast wheel is a bad thing?

The reason people don't like HREs on a Raptor is because the truck won't be used for offroad jumping in the desert. Because, you know, the Raptor has one purpose. For jumpin'.

You cannot tow a boat with a Raptor, because how you gonna jump?

You cannot put a stereo in your Raptor, because jumpin'.

You cannot use it on a road trip, because there are no roads when you're jumpin'.

Don't you dare take your wife and family out in that crew cab unless they plan on getting dirty from jumpin'.

You can't shop for wheels unless they are Methods or Fuel. Of course Fuel are worse than Methods though, because everyone has Fuel.. jumpin'.

You can't buy ADD bumpers, hell no, because you need a smurf fro jumpin' and too many bro dozers have ADD.

And so forth.

Pretty much, it's the difference in perspective on what the truck should do in someones opinion.

I daily drive mine so comfort and looks are more important to me. I do lightly off road on my property from time to time, but I am not jumping dunes.

Of all of them I think that picture with the AG Rap and black wheels looks the best.

I personally prefer the look of smaller wheels and big meaty tires. But those HREs are nice wheels and look good nonetheless.
