Thank you guys. Do you guys know of a place where I can get this for a good price?

We'd be happy to help get you setup with everything you need. We're an authorized COBB dealer and can set you up with the Stage 1+ Package which includes the COBB Accessport tuner and Cold Air Intake. Additionally, we offer COBB Protunes from Brew City Boost with purchase.

As for exhaust, we carry all the major brands and can gladly help with that as well as your lighting. I'll send you a PM now with some more info!

I just put on the S&B cold air intake a week ago. Good price for what it does! Only got it to hear the intake better. This is my first turbo vehicle and wanted hear all the noise. I do plan on getting the Cobb tuner later this year.

So.. After my fail experiment with exhaust, I'm putting my exhaust back to stock. I think stock sounds best for me right now because I have a little kid and don't wanna have a loud car or something may bug her hearing or ears. I have other vehicles that can be quite loud and she can't ride in it since it's 2 seaters so i wanna keep this one with OEM exhaust noise.

With that said.. I'm bored and wanna play around withe truck.. Now.. I wanna try the intake. So after reading it I came down with these 3 intakes... I won't be tuning the truck or anything. So please advise.

1. AFE super raptor or something like that = loudest intake. Cool, at least I hope it won't be annoying like exhaust? I just don't like the open intake box.. (don't like dirt and other crap get in).

2. Cobb Intake = seems like lots of people using it?

3. S&B Intake = lots of people use too. what's S&B stand for ?? I only know S&B stands for Schmidt & Bender LOL

I want an intake that's loud that can let me hear the turbo or hear the intake suction... I don't want to mess with any tuning and please something that does not throw a CEL ?? Any vendor has some recommendation, please let me know too or PM me . Thanks

For your needs, you’ll be happiest with the AFE Power Magnum Force Stage 2. It’s not annoying loud, gives you the exact sound your after. It’s available with 2 finish options and 2 different filters.

Be happy to help get you setup if you’d like.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned the VOLANT intake with the blue donaldson filter.

it might not flow like some of the others, but it is hands down the best filter for your raptor if you seriously offroad it.

Filter is dry and rated for 100K on road miles.

I put a fresh filter on before every desert run. I might shake it out a couple times, but usually dont have to replace it. By comparison, There are guys that have to bring a new air filter for every day of the trip.

I highly recommend avoiding oiled filters at all costs, regardless of what intake you get.

Nothing wrong with K&N. There are tons of options for upgrading the CAI and you’ll get just about as many opinions as there are members of this forum, and many that will say its a waste of money. I think there are plenty of great options out there.

I went with the Airaid for a few reasons. They’re reputable. It’s a middle road price (should get it for under $400). Has a large easily accessible filter. Looks good. But for me, the biggest selling point was what I consider the best, most direct snorkel to the cavernous box.

If the CAI is using the stock snorkel, it takes a more tortuous/circuitous course which will result in
some restriction. If you believe in CAIs and want to improve airflow, then I think the snorkel should be part of the agenda. KN makes a great product but it does use the factory box n snorkel so I passed on it.

Just my 2c.... and purely my opinion. You’ll get others with great reasons why they chose their CAIs (or chose not to upgrade the CAI). You can also spend a lot more for a CAI but I feel there become diminishing returns after a certain point.

Good luck.
