To answer your question @LekRap , I run the K&N intake for one main reason: I have run K&N filters and intakes on all of my cars and trucks for 25 years and have never had a single issue. Not once, ever! I wipe my intake tube every time I clean the filter and the throttle body occasionally and have never had any measureable amount of dirt show up on a white towel. I didn't notice any seat of the pants difference on the Raptor but combined with exhaust I have noticed a slight power difference in other vehicles. I have never had any K&N product come apart in any way. This could be design, or install, not sure. I have 3 vehicles right now with over 100k on them with the original K&N filter that is still going strong with proper care and the engines are going strong as well. All of this is good enough for me and I'm not likely to change anytime soon. Your results may vary.
