I am very familiar with the crap that Hennessey puts out. I am also aware of the great reputation and support from COBB. But what I am curious about is why the final HP output numbers from Hennessey are at 600HP vs COBB is closer to 500HP.

I certainly plan to do the install myself and since Hennessey does not support or sell just the power package, I have not been able to really determine what they are adding that would justify the power gains they are claiming. I realize they add an exhaust, but in speaking with COBB they mentioned that would not have much of an impact with their tune.

Does anyone know what is being done differently to show 600 HP from Hennessey?
Or is this just more fluff?
I am curious if anyone has a nice kit that would get you to 600+ HP?

Hennessey is extrapolating BHP horsepower are 600. Meaning... at the flywheel... meaning... they’re back solving for a made up number based off of their dyno runs.

moral of the story... they aren’t make any more wheel horsepower than anyone else.

With stock turbos and stock hardware on premium pump gas the raptor tops out in that 450-475WHP range by Any quality tuner like MPT, COBB, etc.

After 3 years I still swear by MPT and I’ve tried most of the aftermarket
Tunes.

Mainly fluff and i'm sure that is estimated BHP, can choose what you want and make your raptor stage 2 for so much cheaper. They do nothing other than tune, intake, IC and exhaust power wise.

Also, COBB has WHP on their dyno sheet. I do not even see a dyno sheet from Hennessey, only claimed numbers.

Anyone who buys anything from H is a idiot
Lol i can agree with that statement. Although, recently someone has dumped a ton of money into the company for them to be offering
Hennessey is fake news. That "600" package originally came with upgraded turbos. They quietly removed them from the package but left the price and the power ratings the same.

Stay away. Use a reputable tuner.

For the avoidance of doubt, Hennessey is not a reputable tuner.

Sounds like something they would do.
