Some handY tech guy . superimpose the MPT dyno plot and the Cobb plot. I’m not looking at peak numbers or anything silly being they are different dynos on different days. I want to have a side by side comparison of the shape of each curve.

I think at this point MPT and Cobb are going to extract relatively the same amount of power from the truck. I’m more interested in who makes the smoothest power over the widest RPM RANGE.
I can’t wait for the back to back Dyno video testing each tune to see what difference if any.

First thing I noticed that cobbs dyno reads higher than MPT dyno, so a simple overlay would be meaningless. Need a test back to back same day same dyno etc.

Did I read that right no trans tune available for Cobb at this time?

Correct. ECU only at this time.

Forgive my ignorance, but coming from the diesel tuning world, upping the power on the ECM and not properly matching the TCM leads me to believe that one would be asking for transmission issues; no? I know on my 6.7 powerstroke it was a big no no to modify the ecm and not the tcm as well...

I think thats a Ford Diesel transmission thing. With my duramax it was recommended but not 100% necessary. I just wish Ford would use the same programming as GM. The GM version is way smoother and had quicker shifts.
