No. If you tune it and Ford determines that the tune is the reason for the issue (which they will) your warranty will be void. Just don't tune it. The difference is going to be minimal, it's a truck not a race car. The 450 and 510 feet of torque isn't going to be the limiting factor if you race this thing in the desert, it's going to be the grip and suspension.

If you think the difference is minimal youre wrong. Ive tuned every truck I've had and the difference was indeed minimal. Not on this truck

Awesome - just what I thought. The rattling cam phasers and blown engine reports lately are scaring me.

You might "feel" likes it a huge improvement but it's not. Most Raptors run between 14.0 and 14.5 in the 1/4 mile, some stock ones have ran into the high 13's on a good day. Show me a tune only Raptor in the low 13's... or even the 12s...

Hennessy is the only one to claim in the high 12's but no one trusts that guy and it's wicked expensive.

For me even a ".5 second" difference in the quarter mile is pointless for this truck. .5 is a minimal change for an already slow truck.

Agree, just leave it alone. Not worth the risk. I've been to the dunes 3 times already with my G2. I don't want to worry about melting a piston because of some aftermarket tune that never got checked for safety outside of dyno pull air and coolant temp conditions.

You’re pretty funny.

Slow truck? Oh I see, you drive a 1st gen. Understandable comment then.

The 2nd gen is a different truck. The only thing the same as 1st gen is the name. Oh wait, that isn’t the same either. You can review my posts to find my time slips. My stock SCrew truck will run 13.5 sec and 100+ mph. It is running 80+ mph at the 1/8th mile. 60ft is 1.8 sec. It’s ~5700+ lbs, so it is quite “quick” for a stock (tune only) truck.

Hope you’re enjoying your “slow” truck.

... I have both trucks... I also own and have had many different sports cars, modded and unmodded. I’m sorry you disagree with me, but if you behaved like this to me in person, you would be walking away with a broken jaw.

I noticed that most your posts are pretty hostile on this forum. Do you even own a Raptor or do you just spend your free time on car forums trying to start internet arguments?
