Thats there PowerPack Level 1 same gains just without exhaust PowerPack level 2 comes with exhaust. Tune has to be loaded by Ford or Roush/Ford dealer. The numbers are probably Crank not WHP. You figure it will be in 40WHP range just like any other Tune with just Cold Air Intake.

Might get this then, any thoughts? Do you enjoy the Roush tune?

Very simple to know. My buddy is a ford tech. And no matter what you do if you tune that ecu in anyway they can and will find it. Things like boost higher than stock etc puts a red light. He said he gets mustangs and trucks all the time in for warranty and they pull the run file and can see where they put it back to stock etc. so if you have a good dealer who may work with you give it a go. If not then you are holding the bag for repairs. Me. On the cost of these. Stock is fine. If you wanted something truly fast but it.

that’s strange because Most save the ECU DATA and re flash that back
On. My good buddy who’s a master tech Advised me I’m fine and then went to explain that the ECU tracks key cycles. Based on the experience I had with my Focus ST and an accessport, and the experience I’ve had with my raptor, I’m going to say he’s right and your buddy might be talking other tuning options like sct or ngage?

Why do people even make these tune threads on car forums? You already know the answer which is that your engine warranty is a goner when you tune.

Do some people get LUCKY and get engine stuff covered (you might even get phaser or something on the simple side covered)? Sure. Are you getting a new engine if you send a piston through the block? Nope.

Here's a guy who blew his engine with a tune and was denied warranty. If someone can find one where somebody with a tune did get their new engine covered I'd like to see it:

If you have Roush installed by a dealer your warranty is still in effect.

Not true. Roush stands by their product with a ROUSH limited powertrain warranty 3/36. It's right there on their website. Their product is not covered by your factory warranty...they provide their own.
