Yep, that's it. Just adding another fuel map later ($175).

You get up to speed normal, around 35mph should be 2500rpm in 4th gear. Right there you punch it and go out to 6000rpm. That allows me the data from spool up at low RPM to higher RPM. The full power band!

Awesome Chris! Can't wait man!
Always feels strange doing it like that as the truck chugs along until it hits the power band. But then try the tune off the foot brake or in the revs and it takes off like a bat out of hell.

Ok, why didn’t someone tell me sooner. Bought a gen 2 when it came out. Hated the throttle delay. Put a peddle commander on it. Still had the delay and felt like like a throttle on/off switch. Cam phasers at 38k. Now at 58k with horrible clunking and delayed shifting. Best Ford could do is reset the transmission to start relearning. With the warranty over, and knowing the transmission going to relearn bad habits, I ordered a 92 octane tune with TCM from Winfield. After 5 rounds of tweaking the tune, the shifting is great, no more delay in throttle response and wow this thing is fast and fun to drive. Now I’m irritated that I put up with a substandard raptor for almost 4 years.
