Hey guys, looking for thoughts from those with eibachs on their 19+. I just installed mine on a 20’ and they're more firm than stock but that’s not a complaint. However they make a really harsh top-out sound and feeling when going over speed bumps and off-road. It’s to the point where it feels and sounds like the springs are moving around in the buckets. The suspension was a lot more quiet and settled when stock. I can’t decide if this is just the result of the stiffer spring rate, install issue, or what. I’m considering going back to stock springs on a collar to get the same ride height without the clunks...

Make sure the coils are not hitting the shock look for wear marks or scratches. I know on gen 1 if you do not place the 2 wedges on the upper mount correctly they will hit the shock.

All looks good in that department Sernas. I’ll mention that I had these installed by a very reputable Raptor modification shop and my last thought was installer error but after inspection there was wiring left hanging and brackets that hadn’t been reattached. After finding those things you can’t help but wonder what else might have been overlooked you know?

Helps to reset the shocks
I did give that a shot yesterday after searching around the forum and then went for a test drive. Maybe some slight improvement after a test drive but still noisy. I appreciate everyone’s feedback as I know the Eibach topic has been beat to death.

I have them on my 19’ and have loved them so far. No noises or clunking at all. Wonder if they forgot to tighten something back all the way or something to that extent. I’d go back and let them know what’s going on and see if they can replicate the problem and fix it.

Quick update. Put some miles on the Eibachs this weekend after the Live Valve reset and things are feeling better. The truck is now sitting almost exactly level whereas it was quite a bit nose high before so springs appear to have further settled in. They are definitely firmer than stock as everyone knows and top out is a little more forceful. On a side note I thought I had some noise coming from the bed and checked my bed bolts and Line X apparently didn’t tighten them down as they should have which may have added to all the growing racket in my truck that was driving me bat s**t. I’ll keep everyone posted if it pops back up or I end up running it back by the installers.
