I have the exact same issue, convinced all 4 shocks are bad. I have not heard any complaints with the 37 package. I am trading or selling my current 2021 35 and am getting a 2022 37. its is a great truck but it's gonna be a while before they figure this out.

Yeah. Unfortunately it turns a 5 star experience into a 2 star experience. I love everything about the truck but then I drive it and am like “really?”.

Im surprised ford keeps using Fox. Fox is the McDonalds of shock companies. They try to make shocks for every application. Bikes. RC Cars, you name it. I think they are turning into Rancho. Rancho was the real deal back in the days. Now they put the Rancho sticker on any tenneco shock and call it a day. Fox is a cool name and they seem to spend a lot on making the shock look cool but I’m over it. If I could disable the LiveValve, I’d be more than happy to put some Kings or ICONs on here. I imagine, perhaps, their gen2 raptor offering may fit.

I know there are worse things going on in the world but we can still talk about it :). Im not mad at anyone or upset. Just makes for good conversation, analysis.

If you are unloading yours, at least you can get the premium price back, and go buy a TRX that doesn’t use FOX.

Here are my rear shocks:

Yup. My passenger side was really bad like yours are. Replaced it on my own. Now all 4 have a consistent rattle. Super annoying.

For sale. Broken ass shock. 4 more for sale very soon :)

I’ll probably keep this truck and hope someone comes out with some quality shocks. I looked at TRXs. The 2 I could find are 100K+.

Honestly thinking trx would have been a solid option. I also dealt with 3 visits to the dealer on a check engine light and at the final visit they replaced high pressure fuel pump

@FordTechOne I was curious if it’s possible to disconnect the live wiring at the shock housing and drive the truck? I’m assuming it is but will probably mess up the programming. Sorry if this is a repeat question

You can try that, but it will set a lot of warning indicators including “drive control malfunction”. If you have ForScan you should be able to clear the DTCs after reconnecting the solenoids.
