clicking noise

no worries, what parts are they replacing? better question..what work does he plan on doing to fix the problem?

Not sure. He was under my truck while I stood on brakes switching from forward to reverse and he id'd problem to rear diff case in the shaft region. He went online and found tsb. Said he ordered parts to replace via the tsb. I won't know what parts are until after rpair

See if you can get the TSB number from him so I can give it to my guy on Friday....if you can that would be great!!

There is a TSB for this issue, the comments in the TSB perfectly sum up the issue (the nature of the clicking noise). Step one to grease it up..step two if the sound doesn't go away...order new parts...in the same boat as Vince7870...waiting on the dealer to get the parts.

Still have the "click" or "pop" or whatever the Fu(K! Experimented today and if you go from drive to neutral, let off the brake then put it into park, there is no "click or pop" when starting it back up and going into drive or reverse. Could some of you other guys that have had the same issue and see if it goes away. Maybe then we could consolidate to see exactly what is up. I don't think it's a huge deal but I don't like "pops or clicks" in a 50K truck I am pretty **** about.
