So I got some cool news today for RPG and SEMA.

The LPR 2.0 is officially placed with Meguiar's at the 2012 SEMA show. It is pretty cool too. It seems it is the first truck they have ever considered for their booth other than a 50's custom they had once. We were also the first vehicle of any kind to be chosen by the Meguiar's team for this years show.

I think Corey, Jarrett, Jamie and their teams should be super proud.

Great Job guys.

That could or "should" equal TV or commercial or print coverage

Way to go ! With all of the negative "frame bending" press time this should put Raptors in a positive position

All the credit goes to you for this one Mr. Ross. I can't wait to see the reaction of everyone when this bad boy gets dirty for the first time. SEMA will be a blast and I know we will make Meguiar's proud to have selected your truck for its booth. Also, Scott said it best. It will be nice to see the Raptor get some good positive press and show the world just how far you can take a Ford product with some amazing engineering, world class craftsmanship, and the coolest owner of all time.

Think about it, Chris has been without his baby for a LOOOOONG time.

Does'nt Meguires have a show called ? Car Crazy or something ?

Boy now that could really put the Raptor in a spotlight
Would be great for RPG, maybe Corey could buy a band saw, plasma cutter, welder and another toy that could bring some production parts "in house"

The beauty of this cage is in the simplicity of the design. It will be a full bolt in assembly that can be shipped right to your door, no welding required and not all that hard to put in. The cage itself is mounted to the body mounts for extra strength, and will allow you to run 4 point belts. It won't save your truck in case of a roll-over, that is is for. However it will save you and the family so you can go offroading again. This will be a product that will be hitting our brochure soon.

Just got some time to read this build... You are not at all concerned with the safety of a bolt in roll cage? I have never heard of anyone promoting the safety of a bolt in roll cage. Is there a race sanction body that will approve this? Or are you just saying this is for the regular driver that is not going to run their Raptor hard off road... I am in no way calling you out on this since I have been out of the system for a while... Just wondering if the rules have changed...

Hock, what's up ?
Let me try to explain this without pictures
There is a special machined SOLID peice of steel that is.... looking from a top view you are looking at a cicular peice of 1 3/4 or 2" solid stock. Now find centerline and machine 1" down on one side leaving the other side proud. Make two of these. Now these two peices mate together, then are bolted by 2 or 4 ?5/16 bolts (not sure if 2 or 4, also not sure of bolt size) Jarret might have to post a pic for you to get it. the two halves are around $100 each. Very strong, maybe even stronger than a welded joint. Might even be allowed in "racing" used for door bars, ect.
Not like the ole "Smitty Built Show bars" Very well made.

LiL J please post a pic of this part. Thanks
