How are you liking your H.I.D. todd?
I do like them. I had two issues. Tuesday night when I drove home in the rain, the driver's side light went out, but worked fine the next day, so I'm guessing a little water got in a connection. I took them all apart this afternoon, dielectric greased all the connections and wrapped them all with tape.
Also, the passenger side seemed like the beam was rotated and was hitting people in the rear-view mirror. After further inspection, and a swap of the bulbs, it's like the light housings actually are different and create a different beam pattern. The driver's side is more focused and the passenger is more flood-ish. I speculate this is because we drive on the right side of the road and to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. I lowered the light on the right side and will take a drive tonight.
I will say they are bright as shit and the color match is awesome with my HIDX on the hood and the rigid Dullay's below.

Im still wondering if that driver side snap ring isn't in all the way.
You know I was thinking about this a lot, and I think you're fine. All the force of that spring is essentially resting on the lower lip of that groove, as it's translated first from the blue lower mount, then to the ring and then to the groove. If you think about the PSI that is on that groove, due to the extremely small surface area and incredibly HUGE spring force, if it's wasn't in, it would fail out immediately.
That being said, if you want to double check it, I'll be more than happy to help since I want you to be able to drive without concern, but I really think you're safe.
