I will text Tim. He told me he had to cancel his desert trip, so he should be available.

I went to Autozone. They didn't appear to have a Macpherson strut spring compressor, so i need to try and find one, or I'll just buy one.

I've gotten a couple PMs. Please PM me back with your full name and cell so I can get on contact in case something goes sideways, which I doubt.

Yes we'll do a BBQ for lunch. We'll figure out the details a bit later.

I stopped by a local shop. He confirmed he can do the Raptor. He's a mud bogger guys, so we hit it off. He'll charge $59 and it'll take about an hour. I figure we can finish the first two trucks, and then drop them off for alignments. We'll just need someone to ferry guys back and forth. He doesn't expect it'll take an hour, but that's our time estimate for now.

Does anyone know what the spring compressor is called that allows you to do the spring on the truck? I think that would be ideal if I'm going to pony up and buy something.

Okay, So the compressor at Auto Zone was not a strut spring compressor. Advanced Auto parts has two, so I'm going to go "buy" them at $60 a piece, and I have 90 days to return them.

Let me throw this out there now, you **** up the spring compressor, it's yours! All I've read is to take it slow, grease the threads, and apply load to each side evenly. Some guys have even used three of them on a single spring for safety.

I'm going to get these two, but since this might do, at best, one truck, someone else should try and track two of them down. There is an Autozone in Antioch, but I'm sure someone could get another pair of them and bring them with, and return them when we're done. Not required, but it would be nice to have two trucks going at once.

I also have a single air compressor and a single impact gun. I could probably borrow my neighbors air compressor, but he can be funny about that. If anyone has a gun and compressor, bring it!

not sure if i can make this either, or do i really wanna go to mid.... well i do, but the few dealers i talked to wanna void for almost any small reason... but if the off chance that i can, ill see if my brother in law has any spring compressors, and if he will let me borrow them. so just to not get anyones hopes up, lets just go on that i cant do either of them... lol and if i can suprise ya, then the better.

Yes he can do alignments, if you want. We have guys from Green Bay to Indiana, so they'll want to get aligned I bet.

Can you tell me more about this camber kit? Where do you get it? What does it do? I mean, I guess it allows you to adjust camber easily. What does it cost?

Okay, some research and I got my answers!! Beat you to it. I think I'll skip it. Many of the shops on here seem to get away with not needing it on mid perch.

Well if your shop can zero it in then i'll go with them, but some need the kits to get it more true.
