I’m getting a check 4X4 light on when shifting from 2 to 4 wheel drive. it will not engage 4X4 and also because of that, will not allow me to change modes from normal to any other setting. Absolutely awesome as it’s winter in NH with no 4X4 and I tow a 4 place snowmobile trailer and need tow haul active. I love this truck but it has definitely had enough issues to start ******* me off at this point:(

Pics for reference. It also slammed into 4X4 during a snow storm. it was like it wasn’t in all the way then popped in.

I wonder if the shift motor wiring is loose. I would crawl under there and unplug it and plug it back in, other than that, dealer visit since it's warranty.
And pray he doesn’t need a part, which will of course be on national back order :-/

Oh probably, even though it's most likely the same parts since 2015. Check your fuses too, OP, not sure if there is one for the shift motor or not, but some owners have said fuses were loose from the factory.

This - back left corner as you look at the engine. Majority of mine needed a good push

I work at the dealership so they looked at it today. Left front auto hub is shot. They ordered the only one showing in stock and are hopping to have it tomorrow for install.
Are they still using iwe's? Can you post a picture of the hub when you get it, would be nice to know what the Gen 3 has up front.

So they replaced the hub today and it appeared as though all was good, unfortunately after putting it in and out of 4X4 a few more times on my way home it started acting up again and said drive mode parameters not met:( I did check all my fuses for tightness when I got home and almost all of them needed to be pushed in. I went out and drove again after fighting them and it worked perfect, but it also worked perfect the 1st few times before it acted up the 1st time.
