Charging System warning light

2017 Gen 2 … went on a 2300 mile road trip my kids had all outlets filled with their phones and game boys ( not sure if this is relevant to what happened) … almost home when the navigation wasn’t working and soon after the assist cruise control began to shut off with a warning message ( can’t remember what it said) but if I shut off truck and restarted it would be ok for a while then I got a “ Charge System Warning shut off all electronic run “ message came on and then it went off … now truck seems fine but WTH ??

Maybe your battery is getting weak, start by cleaning the terminals and if you have a meter check the voltage to the battery while running, should be around 14vdc

Ok had battery checked it’s fine ( 13.8 running and 12.6 off) Yesterday ran an errand and the radio shut off and then came back on … nothing weird happened today .. but failed to mention: it has hesitated starting 2-3 times in last month.
Any thoughts?????

Could still be a bad cell in the battery or a loose battery connection or ground.

Check all connections at battery terminals.
