BTW, my 2011 GEN1 does not appear to have that Hall effect battery sensor on the negative cable.

I can’t find any reference to resetting the BMS using that procedure . No idea how they figured that out or if it does in fact work.

Pretty sure that’s the procedure outlined in the manual of my gen3. I had to do it after disconnecting the battery.

I love learning all this high tech you have to know for the advance systems of the new trucks that I don't have to worry about on my 2010! Especially not having the auto start stop feature, wife's car has that and it's a real pain in the ass.
