GEN 1 Changing shocks what else to do along with it.

I just got my shocks rebuilt and will replace the current ones. It has some of the famous front end clunking. Drives straight and true.
What are some other things that I should replace while replacing the shocks (want to replace necessary parts and get rid of the clunking)

Front sway bar end links!!!
Replaced mine at 30,000 miles, and solved my front end clunking, cheap fix and took about an hour with a few beers in between.

Just check your upper control arms and lower control arms for play, ball joints, etc. If you've never had a problem with your iwe's, then you're probably good to go. Get the specs for the shock bolts, ex: 406 ft/lbs bottom front bolt, etc.

Not saying replace them all, but now is the time if needed.

Good time to replace coils (Geisers or Icon), rear leaf springs and add rear shock guards.
