That front windshield looks really clear. Do you notice any optical clarity issues? What if you have on polarized sunglasses? Any banding or checkering? Heat reduction and no loss of vision at night sounds good.

I have never had an optical issues with Crystalline. I wear glasses 24/7: either polarized sunglasses, or my eye glasses. I have never seen any type of banding, checkering, or anything else.

At night, headlights and taillights may look slightly distorted, but the tint eradicates any glare from them, so it is well worth it. Moreover, you can drive directly into the sun and not have to put down your sun visor and/or wear sunglasses because the tint filters out the glare. Lol it is awesome technology.

I had Crystalline 70% on my windshield for my Gen 1 and the 50% makes a world of difference of how much heat is kept off of the dash. It is well worth the money and one of the best mods you can do on your truck.

I use 3M Crystalline 50% on my front windshield and 3M Crystalline 20% on the front, rear, and back windows. It is like driving in a nice cool cocoon! Crystalline appears dark from outside of the vehicle, but from the inside, you can barely tell I have tint on the windshield. Also, it doesn't effect your visibility at night!

I don't have any pics on my Gen 2, but this is my SUV that has the same specs noted above:

As you can see, the visibility difference between the 50% on the windshield and the 20% on the front window is not much. Oh, and I am in the Sunshine state as well :)

What did it run for all 6 windows?

It should cost around $600-700 (give or take) depending on whether you have a sunroof tinted too. My shop gives me a pretty significant discount because I have had 3 vehicles tinted in Crystalline during the past year, while also having them do other work.

Thanks. I will look into that in my area. If not I'm sure Boston will have someone.

I’m Curious why you had tint installed over the factory tint, does this help reduce heat and or provide more UV protection? I had Crystaline 3M tint installed on my front windows and windscreen.
I mainly just wanted the back darker than it was from the factory, they used expel high performance film so I'm not sure if it is better than the factory for UV protection.

I have 5% all around with clear on the windshield and sunroof. Cut the interior heat down like crazy. I really wanted 5% on the sunroof but can’t have it. I like having the shade open but don’t want it so bright.
