Beautiful! I've been all over that place. My wife does research out there on the Giant Kangaroo Rat. When its green and the wildflowers are out its awesome! We were there about a month ago. It was just starting.
Did you see the elk, any antelope, or any condors?

Thank you - it really is a spectacular place! Unfortunately we didn't see any this time around. I know someone saw a badger the other day though.

Awesome! We seen a few out there. Those things are tanks! We have even seen a few weasels. Here is a pic of the last one we seen out there.
When we were there they elk were down between soda lake and panoramic rd. About 3/4 miles from pavement.
We also seen this guy up on some rocks by Washburn ranch. Only picture i got cause i had to catch my breath before pulling the phone out. We get to stay at Washburn ranch house when we are there thanks to the wife. She has been doing research out there for about 10 years now.
