Has anyone tried bringing their rig through an auto car wash yet. I'm a bit nervous being its 6" wider than standard F150.

i used to regularly, but since i changed the wheels i was having some problems getting kinda stuck and rollers going under the wheel. been using self-washs since. i do a better job anyways, for less money.

I took my 14' Raptor through a touchless automatic 2-3 times per week that used a "Raptor" brand system without issue. If you're taking a $55k+ truck through an automatic car wash that isn't touchless you obviously give zero ***** about your paints condition. Those car washes with the spinning brushes destroy your paint.

I ran my 2017 through an automatic one (Mister Car wash, not touch less) two days ago and had no issues whatsoever. Make sure your radio antenna is removed prior to entering the wash and you'll be fine. I know it's frowned upon but I just don't have time to hand wash/dry and we have restrictions that prevent me from washing vehicles in my driveway.

I did have one issue with my 2014 Raptor while attempting to go through an automatic wash in Austin, I forget the name but it jumped the track half way through and luckily I ignored the warning about leaving your hands off the wheel during the wash and was able to correct it before it was able to do any damage.

I took my 13 through a Blue Wave car wash and an employee said I was not allowed to go back. He said the tires were too big and were breaking their machine.

Thankfully White/AG won't show swirls or damage from a wash as much. One benefit of those colors.
