Thankfully White/AG won't show swirls or damage from a wash as much. One benefit of those colors.

Very true, my ruby red did show some swirl marks after the 100's of washes it endured during my ownership. On a side note, the wash never left marks or swirls on the the hood or side graphics on my 2014. The oem graphics were pretty tough IMO.

You should NEVER take a car to a machine car wash unless it's a car you don't really care about. Two bucket hand wash only.

I've seen so many peoples vehicles get damaged from machine car washes. If you don't get any damage from the wash, you will develop swirls in the clear. It's just not worth it.

I ran my 2017 through an automatic one (Mister Car wash, not touch less) two days ago and had no issues whatsoever. Make sure your radio antenna is removed prior to entering the wash and you'll be fine. I know it's frowned upon but I just don't have time to hand wash/dry and we have restrictions that prevent me from washing vehicles in my driveway.

Jeez, even in San Francisco, which is a totally liberal hippie ***** ****** city where people like to have gay marriages to their same-sex cats, artificially impregnate them and then have abortions, all while not going to church, you can wash your vehicle anytime you damn please!

I was on vacation and got on snowy salted roads the only carwash I could find was a drivethru, the kind that pulls truck with chain. In I went, truck got stuck mid way!!!!! Luckily, no damage. The ******* attendant told me they have had problems with Raptors getting stuck. I rudely informed the stupid ass that is information you tell the truck owner BEFORE you enter the wash. Hand wash only for me.

Has anyone tried bringing their rig through an auto car wash yet. I'm a bit nervous being its 6" wider than standard F150.

I called the washes near me first... The one I had a monthly subscription to for my Sierra could not but my local Waterway and another can handle a wide load.
