Hey pros and cons of cantilever vs bed cage suspension
Some companies offer bed cage suspension of 16" of suspension travel and some companies makes cantilever suspension kit of 18" and 20" of suspension travel.
Will you go for bed cage suspension or cantilever, which one will perform better?

Rpg bed cage suspension or rogue cantilever suspension?

I'm seriously considering the rogue cantilever mostly because I don't want holes in the bed of my truck and the loss of space since I haul motorcycles around sometimes. Waiting to hear some first hand experience from other who've installed the Rogue system and so far there isn't any. Would like to see how it holds up to abuse as well.

I gotta tell you though. The RPG bed cage is looking more tempting by the day. It's pretty low profile and if I do go that direction, I would figure out a way to plug the bed holes.

Need to do some more research and see which is going to offer more uptravel, if any. That seems to be my biggest need at the moment.

Interested in hearing more first hand cantilever experience myself...

I think for the stockers will be good to rise the upper mount at the rear to gain a bit more travel limited by the bed without cutting it.
I m the one if i going to upgrade the suspension is by adding more travel than just adding a fatty suspension with the same travel is not on my thoughts

You should be more open-minded. It's not only about travel. I'm on the RPG stage 4+ and can tell you it's a world of difference vs. stock. Massive upgrade. But it depends on how hard you're looking to push the truck and on what terrain. I push past my current limits in the rear, so now I'm looking for more. Donkey kick. But with that I will need a cage. Something to consider as well. I'm not even comfortable driving the speeds the truck is already currently capable of with certain passengers in my car (read: my kids) until it's caged, which will happen with the next suspension upgrade.

I dont quite understand why everyone is using a piggy back resivour shock on the bed cage set ups. If you used a remote resivour shock the hole in the bed can be much smaller. These trucks badly need bump travel and any of these systems to not address this issue. Thats how you get the donkey kick from the lack of bump travel, I understand it makes this mod a fabrication project but I would like to see a kit with a frame support you weld in and gain up travel.

We got to really test out the cantilever system at the TRR and we were extremely impressed with it's performance. It soaked up the smaller bumps and handled great in the larger bumps with very little wheel hop. Even the King Shock guys were thoroughly impressed. Here are some shots of it in action.
