The balance issue I'm having shows up around 70 mph. The tire shops I've been to say they are not out of balance according to their machine's, therefore they are mounted on the truck because three tire shops say they are not out of balance. I have mounted them on and off my truck myself, (with the lug nuts provided by Method) moved tires front and back, side to side so many times I lost count. I've used a torque wrench, lug wrench, impact etc.
If the tire is mounted on the hub and it is off center, when the hub rotates with the wheel on it, the hub rolls true and the wheel will wobble slightly because it is not centered with the hub.
I've had countless ford F150's, 250's, 350's and I've put 35" BFG's on every one.

Also, if these are made for the Raptor the center bore should be the same as the factory bore, I shouldn't have to go to this much trouble getting these NV's properly balanced.

Went to install New method NV's and Falken Wildpeaks last Sunday, drove off and had a bad wobble. Went back on Wednesday, they used road force to try to fix the problem. and tried everything. 1 tire good 3 tires way out. Three tire are shit or wheels shit. I ordered the tires from discount and they are great to work with. They will do whatever it takes to help. Now im not sure if it's wheel or tire.

Putting aside the lugcentric vs. hubcentric issue, I use Dyna-Beads instead of wheel weights for balancing. They dynamically balance as you drive by distributing weight throughout the tire at speed. I've used them on three sets of wheels/tires thus far and they work great!

You may want to give them a try.

i was thinking about using these when my double standards come in.
do the beads mess with our tpms sensors? anything i need to change over? would love to have these inside and not have shit stuck on the back of the wheel.

They're not made for the Raptor; they're just generic wheels with the 6x135mm Raptor lug pattern. Method probably took into consideration all the vehicles that use a 6x135mm lug pattern and used the largest center bore of all the applicable vehicles.

I'm curious to hear the final outcome of this, but I'm still pointing my finger at the wheels.

I didn't see a response to my earlier question, but maybe I missed it... did you see what method was used to mount the wheels on the tire balancer?

dyna beads sucked. mine were outa wack with them….they added beads remounted and put more beads. Krazy house redid them and road force balanced them and they are flawless now. with that said baja is correct….chinese manufacturing standards are absent in the manufacturing process. I'm actual hesitant to run this next batch of caps without someone measuring a known new set of 17 nvs. i had the 1st run and they were different from the 2nd run ( i know because thats when i got my spare)and i think we got lucky on 3rd run but its gotta be up to 4th or 5th batch from china by now. I'm pretty sure they order a container full of wheels and when ready for another container the manufacturing process starts all over again…..and who knows what could have changed from run to run.

Id be interested to see them balance just the wheel and see what they get……..its absolutely possible the set you got is cut off center just a smidge……i hope not but nothing can be ruled out.

and this is the 2nd guy with new nv issues……any more issues pop up and id be looking to the wheels being ever so slightly off on this last run.

arggggggh,,,,I dont "NV" you guys!

I run 10 oz of dyna beads in my tires & they are smooth as glass. That is saying a lot considering the weight of the toyo m/t's. Another consideration is whether your rims are hub centric or not.

METHODS are not hub centric…..they are lug centric.
