Cancelled My Order

I didn't blame anyone for anything JB. Why would I? It really sucks to lose two months of waiting.

I know how much I want my truck and am sure he feels the same. It SUCKS like I said.

Same thing; 27L030 is the official code, but F27030 is what's used to track.

I was just trying to figure out what happened since I have a order placed at the same Dealer at about the same time.

No, I never got a copy of my DORA. The salesmen don't submit the orders their self at this dealership. There is one guy who does all the ordering. When I asked for the DORA the order guy gave me the same story Bob got about not giving them out now because of their "new ordering system". When I asked for my Order Number and the Dealer Code they gave it to me without any trouble.

I confirmed my order with SVT, it was accepted on 3/1 and was exactly what I ordered so stopped worrying about the DORA. It's still clean/unscheduled as of last Friday.

Bob - Sorry I never followed up with you after our initial PMs, but I did look through all their orders and as of about 10 days ago, there were no Raptor orders submitted to Ford after the date you "ordered" yours.

That sucks man. Hopefully this order will get processed. Did the new dealer give you a DORA? And were they able to sell it to you for below sticker? That will be a cool road trip for you and your son. My 13 year old son doesn't know I have one on order and I'm still trying to figure out if I'm going to tell him or just come home with it one day. I am hoping to get it before school gets out in June and then go pick it up from the dealer in the morning and just show up and pick him up from school with it. Either way, he's gonna flip out.

To answer your questions JB, yes to both of them. I got my DORA this morning and everything looks good. Now, I sit back and wait...again. No worries though because I feel a hell of a lot better with who I'm working now, than I did with who I was working with before. And you are right...it's gonna be an awesome road trip. My son will never forget this one. It's only fair that he gets to go anyway because it's his fault I'm buying one. Need For Speed is a game he plays often and I noticed he was racing through downtown L.A. in a Raptor. It looked like a pretty cool truck, so I looked into them and the rest is history. Like I said...it's his fault...at least, that what I tell my wife.

I feel I should step in at this point because I can hear the nervousness in you voice. First, I'm sure you order is fine. For some reason, my was a train wreck from the very start and I didn't know why. If I'm spending over $50,000 on ANYTHING, I want to be kept in the loop. I ask a lot of questions and in return, I expect a lot of answers. They would not give me the info I needed and it pissed me off. It was as if they were hiding something. Second, all the numbers and codes that I was posting were correct, per the paperwork I had. It's obvious that those numbers were not correct. When adding all the "negative" stuff up, I really had no choice but to cancel. Would you want to deal with someone who makes you feel like you're bothering them? Would you deal with someone who can't give you a straight answer? And would you deal with someone who has a "don't call us...we'll call you" attitude? I don't.
I wouldn't worry. You have an order number & CORRECT dealer code, which is way more than I got. I think you'll be fine.

Reading this thread makes me realize that I did not obtain a DORA or any related information from my dealer since I ordered mine in March.

I think it might be time to get some information.
