Cancelled My Order

Now do you see what I've been dealing with? I knew they were just telling me that to string me along even longer...********! No worries though, as one door closes, another opens. I have another one on order (for real this time) and if everything goes to plan, my son and I will be taking a road trip in the near future. I can't wait.

That sucks man. Hopefully this order will get processed. Did the new dealer give you a DORA? And were they able to sell it to you for below sticker? That will be a cool road trip for you and your son. My 13 year old son doesn't know I have one on order and I'm still trying to figure out if I'm going to tell him or just come home with it one day. I am hoping to get it before school gets out in June and then go pick it up from the dealer in the morning and just show up and pick him up from school with it. Either way, he's gonna flip out.

Bob - Sorry I never followed up with you after our initial PMs, but I did look through all their orders and as of about 10 days ago, there were no Raptor orders submitted to Ford after the date you "ordered" yours.

I checked Friday and they had ZERO F150s period on order. Sucked they dicked him over. IDK why a dealer would do that to a person. I would have a hard time NOT kicking sometimes ass at the dealership if that happened to me

Sorry to hear of your problems Bob. I bought mine from Apple Ford in July 2013 and they were great. I got the DORA the same day I ordered and the truck showed up a little more than a month after that. You're not the first person recently though that I've heard had problems with them getting their Raptor ordered. I'll have to take them off my recommended list. Good luck with your new dealer.

I don't see how this is possible. I have a Raptor on order at the same dealership and I've checked on the order a few times with SVT, (Crystal) Ford Service and once with Blood.

JB, sorry I don't understand what "new orders" has to do with Bob's order. IIRC Bob and I placed our orders within a week of each other.

JP, I just had a thought. Did you check for Bob using 27L030 Dealer code? That's the one I was given for my order. Maybe you have the wrong code.

I doesn't make any sense not to place the order. Why wouldn't they want a sale? Even if the buyer backed out Raptors don't sit on the lot long around here.

I was given 27L030 not F27030 by Apple. That really sucks canceling an order after two months and it was probably just a mix up of the dealer code causing all the bad feelings and heartburn.

IDK what dealer code Bob gave BAJA but I'm assuming he gave him the same one he gave me.


Either way, they still were jacking him around and not giving him a DORA for an order they supposedly placed. I would have got my deposit back long before waiting 2 months
