I have no idea what u are referring to. First go around I found this thread or one similar referring to the issue I was having. I printed out the pages that referenced what other had done and presented them to the service manager telling him this is my problem. They agreed. Replaces cams and tensioner pulley etc. Second go around I was really surprised have this happen again. When I spoke to dealer they told me there was newer parts to fix this issue. Was a pain to get Ford to agree to fix again even though it was making noises again. There was really no reason for me to post anything on here as reading on here you can find out pretty much everything you want to know.
My post today was should I just move on or has this been resolved with newer parts? Next time I will just read all 141 pages of posts before I ask a question.
Don’t let these guys get to you. They are just trying to weed out a troll. Post up a pic of your truck or repair invoice, that could help.
I also had three failures on my ‘17 at 19k, 30k and 34k.
After they started making noise again at 34k I called Ford customer service and ended up getting a buy back in early Feb. 20.
I took the cash and bought a ‘20. Love it so far.
