Just voted. Mine was at dealer and they have ordered phasers. I am still driving it and it is booked in for mid July.

I got my truck back, gtg. Replaced phasers are still gtg, the exhaust solenoids went out and replaced with an updated part number. The truck still rattles ever so slightly on initial start-up (13,000 on new phasers) but nothing like it once did. The solenoids fixed my “deceleration rattle.”
At this point I do believe that updated phasers and solenoids have made me whole going forward.

Found out yesterday Cam Phaser are on back order till August! That will be 3 months! I am thinking of lawyering up and using Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Its basically a Act to protect consumer from lemon vehicles that are still under manufacture warranties. I am going to consult with a my lawyer next week but before I do I am going to talk to Ford Corp first and see where that gets me!

they tell everyone that. dealers keep a “thin” inventory now ( aka it’s pretty much virtual ;-) )

It may take that long to get the parts, or they could be there faster. Sort of like all the people who ordered their Raptors, sometimes they just showed up unannounced.

Calling it now- this thread will be the number one most viewed and replied to thread in the Gen 2 Engine section a year from now.

It's not a lemon just because it takes a long time to fix it. I'd ask for a loaner. That way you can at least put miles on something else for three months. They'll want to get your truck fixed ASAP to get the loaner/rental back too. Although if you really do want to get it lemon'ed research the laws of your sate carefully. Taking a loaner/rental may disqualify you from the lemon process- that happened to a Gen II owner here a year or so ago.

it can be, depending on the wording of the law that applies. Also, a loaner may also disqualify the time you have the loaner from application to a lemon law suit, again, depending on the “lemon” law that applies.

You Jennifers have the obsessive MPG thread and we Jennies have the sasquatch77 inspired threads. 2 years ago it was weep holes, now it’s the cam phaser boogeyman, affecting something like .05% of trucks, but it gets a lot of views, like any other sensational post.

Too much internet time, not enough off road time.
