I ordered my build plate on March 25th and it got sent out April 4th. It's not a console cover but I did receive my purchase from him.

WTF? I ordered in February and still have not received it. I'm glad it was only......, ah hell, I forgot how much, it's been so long. Maybe it'll end up being a random Christmas present to myself.

I can honestly say, he is not dead. I ordered a console lid (complete with padded cover) back in late December. I received my order in late April. Calder's communication was to put it nicely... weak. But ultimately I did receive a very nice finished product, was it perfect? no. But it is very nice and I am happy with the item. His quality is very good as others have stated. And his record keeping is obviously very good.

Will I order from him again? yes But I know what to expect. He is for sure operating a small business, his communication skills need improvement, but he is honest and wants to keep his customers happy. If you order from him dont expect typical "big business" service. But if you are patient you should be pleased with what you get. I can only speak from my experience, others have claimed better, and worse service.

Thanks for pulling through Calder, I was concerned, but you followed through and I am happy with the finished product.

I wouldn't say he is honest. he promised to ship my stuff the next day several times, told me on of the parts was done several times etc etc etc. After having parts off of my truck for 3 months, as well as $500+ of my money, I asked him to just return my money and my parts... crickets (no reply). I asked again, and again, with no reply.

I finally started a case with Paypal for the $500+, and then threatened an atty. to get my parts back. These actions got an immediate reply, refund, and my parts sent back within a couple of days.

Its really a shame you have to treat people like this. I get the fact he's a student, and get that he's "doing his best", but he doesn't tell people this up front, and he then lies over and over and over again.

FWIW, my local shop has had the parts for 3 days, and they say they will be done tomorrow, for 1/2 the cost of Calder and Raptor Custom Embroidery.

Id steer clear, the parts aren't special, any upholstery shop can do them.

Is anyone else still waiting for items from Calder (Raptor Custom Embroidery)??

I ordered one of his build plates back in July and haven't heard anything from him. I've emailed him multiple times without a reply. I remember hearing he was dealing with some health issues / surgery? but, two and a half months without a response is a bit much.

Anyone fairing any better / worse?? I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I have a $364 order outstanding since August 8th. He has always been VERY helpful and prompt to reply until a few weeks ago. I hope all is OK.

I actually logged in to FRF today to see if anyone had any status on his business.

I heard Facebook is a great way to reach him. I never had issues via text, so good luck!

From a recent thread on another forum, he broke his back and has been out of commission for awhile due to surgery and recovery.
