Damn, can't believe it tripled in price in two months. I would consider an aftermarket light with smoke lens instead. Most cops don't know marker lights on Raptors are for DOT compliance anyway.

Mentioned this back in Sept...

Have one stashed away for when it goes bad at some point. It's hangin out with my now obsolete and unobtainable blue trimmed seat bottom skin for the drivers side.

Been through this with my 03 Cobra- trying to get ahead of the curve and pick up OEM parts that I know I'll need while they are still reasonably priced. If I had some more cash lying around, I'd probably pick up a spare instrument cluster. They are going to be crazy expensive down the road given they are unique to the Raptor.

2012 raptor. One of the three led lights doesn't work, also has mildew in bottom crevices. Dealer wants $442 for the whole assembly. Anyone try to repair or replace leds or assembly without spending $$$. View attachment 81292

I just got mine replaced today but I had to call Ford Customer Service to cover it. My service rep would not cover the third brake light replacement under my extended warranty.

I would recommend calling Ford Service: (800) 392-3673

****... that makes the having the 100K mile warranty worth it right there...

Wtf. So I guess don't take no for an answer? What is the difference between Ford Service and the Ford dealer service adviser? Dealer adviser told me "svt" third break light not covered under my "svt"/100k extended warranty.

Yeah the fine print in the extended warranty does not cover light assemblies. Ford Service is an actual Ford rep that can escalate your issues/concerns.

The guys at the service dept of your dealership are employees of a privately owned dealership. They can decide whether they will warranty a repair.

Has anyone tried to source these from a regular parts place, or is Ford the only supplier? I have a contact to get parts at cost locally but unsure if its the right one
