CA Registration Help

Im in Socal and just took delivery from a dealership in Reno, NV.

Paid OC sales tax to RENO dealership.
weight cert at local scale
smog check local shop
Vin inspection at local DMV
then pay registration ~$1200
when you pay registration you show them you already paid CA sales tax so you dont get double charged.
Dealer sends title to your DMV, DMV finishes up paper work and issues registration and temp tags til plates come in.

not too complicated but alot of running around.

finally got the truck weighed. Came in at 5580 pounds without the spare and less than a gallon of gas. next stop will be the dmv.
