Yes, it has a better ride quality. The Fox shocks and softer rear leaf springs make it a much smoother ride on and off the road. Who ever told you otherwise has not driven a Raptor much.

The 3.5L in the Raptor has more HP and Torque then the standard EB, so it should be quicker, as well. (Even with the 35s)
Better check some YouTube videos. He is right about it being faster than the Raptor. We are 700 pounds heavier...

I was so bummed when a “friend” showed me that a few days after I came home with my baby. Thankfully I have not run into someone that has one, but if I do I plan to only agree to race them off-road.

The V8 is also faster than the Raptor. Not to 60 but at the end of the 1/4 mile it’s got a faster trap speed and not by a small margin. TFL has also said that the 2.7 EB is actually the fastest F150 the have tested which if true, makes the raptor slower than all but the base V6 F150

It's mostly those light weight street tires making those other trucks quicker. Not much you can do about that.

Do you have the link? I’m not finding it. I’m not doubting you, but that just really surprises me. I would have expected the 3.5 EB to be quicker in the 1/4 mile than the 2.7. Did they say what axle gears each had?

I’d have expected the same. I’ll try and find the link.

Yep I remember TFL did it and the 2.7 was the fastest. I think they were not running a full 1/4 mile though, could be wrong. My 3.5 15 lariat felt faster

If it's the video I'm thinking of it wasn't even a full 1/8 mile, it was 281 ft.

My God, he is coming from a Dodge for crying out loud. A 2000 w/5.4 would be a step up.
