Related but unrelated, do you buy the girl scout cookies because they're good cookies, or because you want to give them money, and if it's just money, then why disguise it with the cookies?
I’ve not purchased cookies since selling my windowless white van. Why do you ask ?
I meant the brewers. Not the drinkers. The ones I have met in several states have leaned more to the left than right
I’ve found it about 50/50. Business owners in tight profit industries like brewpubs, nano/micro breweries tend to be less unwelcoming to folks of different beliefs. Ticking off 50% of your customer base is bad for business. OTOH, I do get that the business owner has the right to make whatever statements they want via their business. Good beer isn’t unique to any particular left, right or middle political affiliation, much less geographic location. Germans make some awesome beer and their beer halls are epic - and were also famous party meeting places prior to WW2...

It used to be the We the People, but over the last century plus it’s become “We the Government”. The individual business owner doesn’t necessarily make up the government.

Can tell you of four or five dealers in Texas that have raptors on hand for $10k over on non-37, and $15k over for 37 package
Have them and haven’t sold them.

know my local dealers in NV have tried to stop selling to Cali residents, but they come in offering $10,000+(unsolicited) MSRP to steal allocations for Raptor's, Tundra's, etc and they ruin our local economy. Yes that's capitalism, yes that's also an inherent flaw of capitalism
I don’t know if it’s necessarily a flaw, but point is well taken. I tried to use remote prices as a cudgel against local ADM charging stealerships in 2017. I ended up buying in state but about 75 minutes from me. I could not have flown some distant place and gotten a better deal. Even at ~$1000 over I’d have had to burn leave, fly out, drive back. If it was way out, maybe burn 2 days leave. Meh.
As it was I scored an MSRP deal.

Perhaps depends on what you refer to as 'craft beer'. There is the stuff you only find at Whole Foods or some thing, and sure, likely leaning left. Then there are the restaurant/bar chains that brew their own stuff, and who knows what they think. Then there are the folks who only sell locally, and thus are more likely to lean the way the local community does. I mean, if you sell beer and lean left in my neck of the woods...you probably want to keep that to yourself.

I don't know if it's 50/50, but then again, there is significant part of the right that will only drink Bud, or Lite, or whatever. Then there are likely a significant part of the left that only drinks wine coolers. So maybe they balance each other out?
