True, but the bird doesn't jump out and slap someone. I had someone come all the way over on me in a turn. You know the kind, 2 turn lanes, I'm on outside, their on inside. They don't turn sharp enough and just turn in to my turn lane. I wished I had my horn back then, I just let the be blinded by 40" of Rigid's until they turned off. It was just after dark, I'm sure they enjoyed it.

That's a fact. Haven't really cared about my horn being busted until then, decided I wanted it back for the idiots out there.

People are so clueless and in their own little world, i doubt they even hear the horn sounding most of the time. If they do, they just look surprised and snap the middle finger back.

That is one of the main reasons I don't get a street bike.

I know what you mean. That's one of the reasons I want to upgrade horns, they are much louder than stock. Stock horns are usually around 95-100 dB, That one is 112 dB. The decibel curve isn't linear, it's an exponential curve.

They say every 10 decibels doubles the perceived volume. So at least it'll be twice as loud as stock, at most it will be almost 4 times as loud.

Bonus, every 6 decibels doubles sound pressure.

Only ones I know of that are louder are Hella Supertones, but they have a higher, european sound to them.

I'd go with the PIAA's. They fit the Raptor much better IMO, the Hella's are very loud in person, they are 118 dB, so the PIAA's aren't far behind.

Noah, does you fancy website show which fuse is for the horn. When I press the steering wheel I hear a click from the passenger kick panel fuse block.
