My personal Land Speed Record is 156mph in a Indy Car at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Wasn’t as thrilling as 140mph on my bike.
The Indy Car was was so tight and the track is one of the fastest in the country. All I had to do was about an inch of wheel turn and follow the instructor‘s line, apexing the corners…

I did some really stupid things when I was a young man. I was into crotch rockets back then. Fully boiled Yam FZ1000, bored out... it was stupid fast, gone plaid even. That being said, I prefer racing with turns. I did more of that on moto, karts, and cars than anything else. Did Tail of the Dragon trips 8 times. We stopped when one of our group was seriously injured riding by himself after we all left.

R32 got too expensive, so I raced 1/8th and 1/10th scale for a while. Got even more ladies with these. Real show stoppers with the women.

Then, I got married. Then I had kids. Then I figured it all out. I don't get to race anymore, ride motorcycles, chase tail, or do anything that I like to do. But, I do get to work and taxi kids around everywhere. So, I have that.
