Bully Dog, did not realize they are made right here in Ontario. Looks like a lot of plastic though.

That metal tube will absorb a lot of heat and transmit it effectively to the air inside the tube, reducing the density of the intake air. If you go with this intake I would strongly advise that you insulate the tube.

Huck, If you do get one please let me now what you think.. I'm still on the fence about putting down $300 for ANY CAI. I am considering the Bully Dog. I'm not sure I really like the way the Injen filter box looks.

Is that base plastic or metal with some kind of line-x type coating?

Its metal with a textured paint, not a fan of plastic, kinda looks like Line-x but not as thick.

is the filter completely sealed or is it exposed?
Are you happy with this CAI?
Did you notice any better throttle response and improved MPG or did you just notice a sound change?

The filter is open to fresh air at the front, I will take a better picture to show that opening.
I had the AFE which I was not happy with its fit and finish, this one is like day and night comparison in quality. The filter is made out of Nanofiber which is a Donaldson material and supposedly the best for filtering small particles.
Yes I did notice throttle response and the sound from the muffler is louder, the sound from the intake is kind of like a whooshing sound. I have not driven it enough to tell if it has any affect on MPG's.
I have a hydro-shield pre filter so you cant really see the blue filter.
