The original LINE-X product was founded by the Burtin family (whom I personally know). However, the Burtin family has not been involved with LINE-X for years and LINE-X has changed and diversified throughout the years. The Burtins are currently much more involved with polyurethane foams than their Bullet bedliners.

The Bullet bedliner is a good product, but don't think that the Bullet company is even close to the capabilities of LINE-X. If you get Bullet, you'll be fine, but they don't offer the same warranty as LINE-X and Bullet does not have a product like LINE-X Xtra (if you want a color other than black). Bullet uses Dupont Nason automotive paint for colors and LINE-X Xtra is WAY more durable. Did you see LINE-X "Body Armor" (LINE-X XS-650) on the West Coast Customs Camaro? Bullet does not have a product like XS-650 either.

This year is LINE-X's 20th anniversary. There will be a couple of surprises coming and one of them will absolutely BLOW their competition away. I mean ALL of their competition including Bullet. I can't tell you what the surprises are now, you will have to wait!
